Project in Progress

Body

The body components were disassembled, restored as necessary, and correctly re-assembled beginning at the car and proceeding forward. The trunk lid was correctly aligned, new weatherstrip installed and trim properly affixed. Each rear fender was removed, cleaned and painted semi-gloss black on the back side and reinstalled. Interior rear wheel gravel deflectors, which had been lost as part of the prior work, were located, restored and properly installed. Correct fasteners were employed to ensure the trim was secure and properly aligned. Finally, the reverse side of the fender skirts were refinished, weatherstrip installed, and then adjusted to fit in correct aligned with the rear fender.
